They Are Lying to You About 'Palestine'. Here Is the Brutal Truth.

For years, we have been told a story. It’s a simple, seductive story about a noble, oppressed people struggling for their land. The word “Palestine” was crafted into a brand of righteous victimhood, a cause so pure that to even question it was to mark yourself as a callous brute. But the brand is cracking. The mask is not just slipping; it has been ripped off with gleeful, violent abandon by the very movement it was designed to protect. The grotesque carnival of October 7th was not a deviation from the cause; it was its ultimate expression. And now, in our own cities and on our own airwaves, the truth of what “Palestine” has become is screaming in our faces. The only question is whether we have the courage to listen.

The Myth of Peaceful Activism Is Dead

Let’s dispense with the pleasant fiction that this is a movement of peaceful protest. That lie has been broadcast, chanted, and cheered into oblivion. Look no further than the Glastonbury festival, a pinnacle of Western cultural celebration. Live on the BBC, thousands were led by the band Bob Vylan in a chilling chant: “Death to the IDF!” Not “peace,” not “justice,” but “death.” The frontman then helpfully clarified the movement’s methodology for anyone who might have missed the point: “Sometimes you gotta get your message across with violence.”

This was not a fringe event in a dark alley. This was a mass radicalization session presented as entertainment, pumped into the homes of millions. It is the new face of the “pro-Palestine” cause: a death cult for festival-goers. This is not an isolated incident; it is the endpoint of a deliberate strategy. While their useful idiots sway to calls for murder, their intellectual advocates are busy erasing the last, threadbare line between “activism” and terrorism.

Outlets like Mondoweiss, once masquerading as journalism, are now openly campaigning to de-proscribe Hamas. Let that sink in. They are openly arguing that a designated terrorist organization, responsible for the most sadistic anti-Semitic pogrom since the Holocaust, should be considered a legitimate political actor. They do this while defending groups like Palestine Action, creating a seamless narrative where smashing a factory and massacring families are just different points on the same “resistance” spectrum. When the band Kneecap, whose member faces terror charges, proudly wears Palestine Action t-shirts, they aren’t being subtle. They are telling you exactly who they are: a unified front where the activist, the vandal, and the terrorist are one and the same.

A "Struggle" Forged in Massacre and Terror

The most cynical lie of all is the claim to a “historic struggle for self-determination.” It’s a noble-sounding phrase meant to evoke images of liberation and justice. But what is the actual, demonstrated method for achieving this “Palestinian nation”? On October 7th, we saw it. It is not statecraft. It is not negotiation. It is storming homes to murder babies in their cribs, to rape women next to the bodies of their friends, to burn families alive, and to kidnap the elderly and infirm for public humiliation.

They have shown us, in the most horrific terms imaginable, that their vision of “self-determination” is built on the bones of slaughtered Jews. This isn’t a weak spot in their narrative; it is their narrative. The goal of the massacre was, in their own minds, to get closer to a Palestinian state. This fundamentally reframes their entire historical claim. It is not a claim for land; it is a claim for land emptied of its people. The “right of return” is not a plea for justice; it is a blueprint for conquest and annihilation. Any discussion of “Palestine” that does not begin and end with this barbaric truth is a dangerous, delusional fantasy.

Their Chaos Versus Our Civilization

While this movement marches under the banner of a foreign cause, its true war is with us—with the very foundations of Western democratic society. The activists of Palestine Action have now escalated from mere vandalism to acts so severe they are being prosecuted under terrorism legislation. An attack on the RAF Brize Norton base is not a protest; it is a direct assault on our national security infrastructure. It is an act of war against the state, justified by a fanatical ideology that sees our institutions as legitimate targets.

This assault is not just physical; it is psychological. On our streets, masked mobs have created an atmosphere of intimidation that “delegitimates” our own parliament, as The Spectator rightly observed. They seek to cancel the rights of our elected officials and the public through sheer menace. This is not a campaign for human rights; it is an anti-democratic force seeking to seize control of public space through thuggery. It replaces debate with fear, and reason with rage. They don’t want to convince you; they want to silence you. It is the starkest possible contrast: the order, rule of law, and peaceful dissent of a functioning civilization versus the chaos and intimidation of mob rule.

This Infection Is Spreading in Our Own House

Do not make the mistake of thinking this is a problem “over there.” The ideology has breached our walls and is now infecting our political bloodstream. In New York, Zohran Mamdani’s primary victory is being hailed as a progressive triumph. Yet this is a politician who pointedly refuses to condemn the term “intifada”—a word synonymous with waves of suicide bombings, stabbings, and shootings against civilians.

This is how it happens. First, they normalize calls for violence at a concert. Then, they mainstream political figures who refuse to condemn that violence. They are using the language of social justice as a Trojan horse to smuggle a violent, extremist ideology into the heart of our political system. Inaction is not an option. To ignore the rise of this movement, to pretend it is benign, is to willfully invite a cancer into our body politic. The cause of “Palestine” has become the single most effective vehicle for anti-Western, anti-democratic, and anti-Semitic extremism in the world today. If we do not act to stop it now, it will be too late to fix the damage.

The choice is clear. The word “Palestine” is no longer a geographical descriptor or a plea for statehood. It is a war cry. It is the banner under which terrorists and their apologists gather to attack the foundations of civilization. The evidence is overwhelming, provided by their own words and their own bloody deeds. We must stop pretending otherwise.

What can you do?

  • Share this truth. Do not let the lies stand unchallenged in your conversations, online and in person.
  • Demand action. Call on your elected officials to treat groups like Palestine Action as the national security threat they are. Insist on the enforcement of anti-terror laws.
  • Reject the normalization of violence. Do not accept chants of “Death to” anyone or the sanitization of terms like “intifada.” Call it out, whether it’s at a concert, on campus, or from a politician’s mouth.
  • Do not be silent. Your voice is a weapon in the fight for civilization. Use it now.
